“6 Wheels of Hope” charity event

The event took place on 1st November in the Italian city of Monza and throughout the day a number of people with disabilities turned up. The main aim of the charity event was to increase awareness concerning the disabled and especially to help those with disabilities become involved in motorsport and for those who did turn up, they were given a unique experience. With the help of professional racing drivers, they were in for a high octane experience, as they were driven around one of the world’s most famous motor racing circuits. Racing drivers from Italy and Europe came to the race track in their Ferrari’s, Lamborghini’s, Porsche’s and those with disabilities were given the chance to take a spin in these high powered sports cars.
Natalia Freydina, who competes in the European FIA GT Championship was one of the stars who did turn up to support
the charity event; complete with her Mercedes AMG SLS.

“This charity event has a particular stress on helping those with disabilities”, commented Natalia Freydina. “Everyone who is taking part is looking to put something into the event. This is the first time I have taken part in this event and I would love to see similar charity day’s like this in Russia. It was wonderful to see the smiles on the faces of people who aren’t able to get involved in motorsport and I was privileged to take part. I would like to thank the organisers for inviting me. The event was brilliantly organized and I had a fantastic day at the Monza racetrack”, the 33 year-old added.
